When Rep Charles Norwood submitted the CLEAR ACT bill in September 2003, which asked for cooperation between local city governments with the federal government in apprehending illegal alien criminals, our city council which included our present mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, voted to have ex-cop Councilman Dennis Zine go to Washington to lobby AGAINST the CLEAR ACT. Now Rep Norwood is submitted the bill again. Let's see what our mayor does now.
