This SS number is a valid number, but it belongs to another tax payer who doesn't know it is being used by an illegal alien. Since this illegal alien tax filer used an ITIN to file his return instead of the SS number shown here on the W2 attached to the return, he is virtually admitting that this stolen SS number does NOT belong to him. But the IRS couldn't care less. By not reporting this fraudulent tax payer to Homeland Security, the IRS is committing a crime by knowingly allowing a "crime in progress" to continue.
This is an actual tax return filed by an illegal alien who received his refund, no questions asked.
